Acupuncture needles being inserted into a patient's body

Acupuncture involves the insertion of fine needles into specific points on the body to encourage the flow and balance of "qi", the life force energy present within each of us. In simple terms we are allowing the body to use its own healing capabilities to their greatest effect.

Cupping involves the placement of glass cups onto the body, using heat to create a vacuum. The process is comfortable and relaxing, much like a massage. Cupping boosts blood flow to muscles, which makes it great for releasing tension, easing stiffness and relieving back pain.
